We are excited to kick off the 2019 Coerver Cup 5v5 and we are looking forward to seeing you at the fields this weekend. Thank you for joining us. This information should contain all the information you need for the day.
LOCATION: Please see each registration Detail section for location information. We will be placing our Coerver flag out at the road to help guide you in.
ARRIVAL: All teams must be checked in BEFORE the meeting at 9:30am and all must attend the Welcome Meeting/Rules review when called over. Only 1 team parent or coach will check the team in to keep congestion under the tent at a minimum. The rules are attached to the e-mail, please review them!!!
ROSTERS: Upon arrival all coaches/team parents please be sure that each player has a Waiver and is listed on the Roster. Check-in will begin no earlier than 9:00am. Only 8 players are permitted to be rostered and play per event. If you are playing more than one weekend in the series the rosters can be different so as to accommodate players being on vacation and a substitute playing in their place.
WHAT TO BRING: Water, water, and did we say water??? Water is important to athletes in the winter or the summer. Please pack some healthy snacks and food to make it through the day to keep your player fueled. Please pack an extra jersey just in case you need to change jerseys due to a color conflict!! Soccer cleats and shin guards are required too!
JERSEYS: Numbers are not required. Again, please have a change of jersey just in case colors are similar. We will have pinnies to borrow as a last resort or if you forget.
SCHEDULES: Schedules will be sent out to the team coaches/representative as soon as possible after registration closes.
Games will start/end on a central clock, individual refs will not be keeping time. If your team is not on the field we will not wait for you, the team that is ready can/will take the ball and score without the opposing team on the field even if it’s not their kickoff, so please be ready!!!! If your bracket has a 1st vs 2nd type game listed we will update those as quickly as we can. Please do not crowd the tent after the horn is blown, only the coach will be allowed in the tent. Please wait 5 minutes after the conclusion of the game for us to enter the game score and then put the team names on the schedule before coming to the tent. Some time slots we will have multiple finals to post.
